Evangelia Grammatiki: The Architecture of Meaning
“For some, a name is merely a label. For me, it has always been a destination.
My surname is Grammatiki. In the Greek language, this word does not simply describe a set of rules. It describes the invisible architecture that turns the chaos of sounds into the meaning of speech. I grew up seeking this ‘grammar’ everywhere: in the perfect geometry of nature in Samos, in the rhythm of the loom, in the silence of ancient texts.
My studies were a constant conversation between two worlds. On one hand, Fashion Design, the language of matter, touch, and form. On the other, Philosophy, the language of the spirit and inquiry. GRAMMA was born at the point where these two worlds met.
I did not found this House simply to add more objects to an already full world. I founded it out of a deep need to restore the lost connection with the things that surround us.
I do not see myself as a designer, but as a ‘Curator’. My goal is not to dress bodies, but to offer tools for introspection. A garment, a candle, a book; for me, they are all ‘Letters’. They are the tesserae with which each of us composes our personal story.
From our studio in Pagondas, I invite you not to consume, but to choose. To seek the quiet behind the noise and the essence behind the image.
