A Study in Abstraction and Serenity

The Isichastirio Wrap Set is more than just a garment; it is a statement of aesthetic purity, a study in rhythm, and an internal destination. Designed and stitched with absolute devotion in our atelier in Pagondas, Samos, this ensemble was born from a deep desire: to offer a complete wardrobe solution that protects from the noise of everyday life.

In this version, the design focuses on the concept of an “embrace”. The upper part, inspired by the geometry of traditional attire, wraps around the body, symbolizing personal security and inner peace. The name Isichastirio (Sanctuary) signifies the sacred, personal space where the “Reader” retreats to find balance and exist with absolute honesty. This set is a “Letter” (Gramma) that follows the body’s curves, transforming daily attire into an act of introspection and Doric elegance.

The Architecture of Movement

The Isichastirio Wrap Set is a two-piece ensemble that celebrates aesthetic purity and adaptability. It consists of a wrap shirt that ties with fabric cords and comfortable trousers, designed to function as a unified silhouette or as autonomous pieces. It is the epitome of “quiet luxury,” where luxury is defined by the quality of the stitching, the flow of the fabric, and absolute freedom.

Materiality & The Sense of Touch

The selection of materials was made with durability and respect for the skin in mind. The composition of 55% linen and 45% rayon creates an ideal dialogue between earth and air:

  • Linen: It offers the sturdy, earthy feel and the necessary breathability, keeping the body cool and the garment durable.
  • Rayon: It lends a silken flow and an incredible softness to the touch. Its presence is decisive, as it enhances elasticity and drastically reduces creasing, ensuring the ensemble remains elegant throughout the day.

Handcrafted Excellence

The utilization of handcrafted stitching is evident in the perfect alignment and attention to detail. From the construction of the delicate tie cords to the elastic waist of the trousers, every stage of production has been completed by our team in Samos. Handcrafted construction offers a quality that mass production cannot approach.

Technical Specifications & Inclusive Fit

Designed in a One Size line, the set embraces every body type with the same majesty, offering ultimate adjustability:

  • The Wrap Top: Features a crossover closure that creates an elegant, natural V-neckline. It secures at the side with handcrafted fabric cords, allowing you to adjust exactly how fitted or relaxed you want it to be. The sleeves are wide (kimono style) for an airy feel.
  • The Trousers: Featuring a comfortable, straight line that grants architectural volume to your stride. The elastic waist (0.80 m to 0.96 m) and the hip circumference of 1.00 m offer comfort while sitting and moving.
  • Model Details: As clearly captured in the file DSC_0325.jpg, Marianthi highlights how the wrap tie flatters the waist, offering a sense of effortless femininity and elegance.

The Ritual of Care

A handcrafted garment requires your respect to maintain the purity of its fabric:

  • Washing: Prefer hand washing or a very delicate cycle at 30°C. Low temperature protects the linen fibers.
  • Drying: Avoid the dryer. The Isichastirio loves natural air drying, but always in the shade to protect the colors.
  • Ironing: Iron at a medium temperature with plenty of steam. Steam restores the silken texture of the rayon and highlights the flow of the fabric. (For striped patterns, iron along the direction of the stripes).

The uniqueness of the Isichastirio Wrap Set stems from its locality. It has been sewn entirely in our central workshop in Pagondas, Samos. Each piece carries the energy of the Aegean and the passion of a team invested in slow, ethical production. When you choose this set, you are not simply buying a garment, but a collectible specimen of modern Samian craftsmanship. It is a conscious choice against fleeting fashion, an investment in an object that ages beautifully with you, preserving the authenticity and depth of its history.

At GRAMMA, we believe that true luxury is not defined by gilded boxes, elaborate wrapping, or superfluous materials. Luxury is Empathy. It is the Protection of the object we have created and the Love with which we embrace it until it reaches your hands. Above all, however, luxury is the respect for our common home: Nature.

Every package we send is a conscious decision of care for the planet. For us, empathy in practice means a minimal footprint as a universal standard.

The Standard of Empathy

The deepest form of luxury is caring for the Earth. That is why all our shipments are exclusively embraced by a comprehensive range of sustainable materials.

We use durable kraft boxes and kraft envelopes, which are 100% recyclable. For internal protection and a delicate feel, we select tissue paper and perforated wrapping paper, offering security without burdening the environment with unnecessary plastics.

This is the material proof that beauty and protection need not sacrifice the planet in order to exist.

The Necessary Compromise for Protection

We recognize that true love for an object means, above all, ensuring its survival. If a product is damaged during transport, this constitutes the greatest waste of resources.

For this reason, in minimal cases, where it is absolutely necessary, we use plastic wrapping. This choice is made exclusively for the maximum protection of our most delicate products (e.g., vases, candles) and only when no other sustainable solution suffices. It is our ultimate, conscious act of care so that your “Letter” arrives intact.

This is the unified, standard packaging policy for all GRAMMA shipments, ensuring the balance between minimal footprint and absolute security.
