• Preparation: Before its contact with water, prepare your «Letter» with respect. Fasten its buttons, as if gently closing a conversation. Remove any collar stays. Turn the garment inside out – a gesture that protects its delicate surface and preserves the vibrancy of its colour.
• The Temperature of Calm: Due to the noble presence of cashmere, this blend prefers a cool embrace of water at 30°C. Choose the gentlest cycle on your washing machine, with minimal spin, like a soft caress.

Drying: The Patience of Air

• Immediate Release: Once the water cycle concludes, release your garment immediately. Do not let it linger damp.
• The Breath of Air: Cashmere cotton, like its components, loves the air. Allow it to dry naturally on a hanger (if it’s a shirt) or laid flat (if it’s a knit polo or t-shirt), away from direct heat or harsh sunlight.
• The Prohibition of Haste: The intense heat of the tumble dryer is an enemy to this delicate balance. Avoid it completely to maintain the shape and soul of the fabric.

Ironing: The Ritual of Smoothing with Respect

• Gentle Warmth: Approach ironing with respect for the sensitive nature of cashmere. Select a low temperature. For the ideal result, iron the garment while it is still slightly damp. Steam is your ally, helping the fibres relax and return to their calm state. Always avoid direct contact between the iron and the buttons.
• The Choreography of Care (for shirts): Follow the same conscious choreography described for pure cotton, always with the gentleness required by the presence of cashmere:
  • The Collar: Start underneath, edge to edge, and repeat gently on top.
  • The Cuffs: Unbuttoned, both sides, mindful of the buttons.
  • The Front: With gentle movements around the buttons, from shoulder downwards.
  • The Back: Using the edge of the ironing board, iron section by section, top to bottom.
  • The Sleeves: Guided by the seam, lay flat and iron from shoulder to cuff.

Storing: Maintaining Harmony

• Choosing its Place: Cashmere-cotton shirts prefer to rest hanging. Knit polos and t-shirts, being less prone to creasing, can be gently folded.
